Joe Moses
California rapper Joe Moses began his career with high-profile collaborations, drawing inspiration from 2Pac. After a setback with jail time, he relocated to Atlanta and signed with Waka Flocka Flame’s Brick Squad Monopoly imprint. In 2011, his regional hit "I Do It for the Ratchets" gained attention. Despite a feature on Ty Dolla $ign’s “Paranoid,” Atlantic Records replaced his verse before radio release. Feeling neglected, Moses left Brick Squad and briefly joined Pinnacle Records before returning to L.A. In 2017, he reunited with Ty Dolla $ign for “On My Bumper” and continued releasing singles, culminating in the Trap Angeles 2 mixtape and the SuWop EP featuring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. Collaborations with RJmrLA and successful singles like “Go Viral” kept Moses in the spotlight.
